Chartered in 2002, ISES Seattle has become a leader in the local creative events industry!

We’ve influenced the special events industry by bringing nationally known event professionals such as Dr Joe Jeff Goldblatt, Founder of ISES, Preston Bailey, Sasha Souza, and Lisa Hurley, Editor of Special Events Magazine!

In addition to our monthly meetings, our chapter created and produces two  local annual events:

Extravaganzia! is our annual showcase of  local talent from around Puget Sound.  We’ve featured aerialists, magicians, contortionists, fortune tellers and palm readers, dancers and musicians.  You name it!

The Emerald City Applause Awards is the jewel in our crown.  Every organization has their own awards program (Esprit, Gala, etc.), but in 2005, our chapter saw a need to recognize the remarkable pool of local event industry professionals, and ECAA was born.  We are extremely proud of ECAA, and invite anyone from any discipline based here in Seattle to submit an entry and be recognized for your achievements.
